AnnetteLanger

Annette Langer gave a presentation about finding self-empowerment to cope with obstacles by refocusing on humor to the Tri-Valley chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association in early December. Her book signing included Healing through Humor: Change Your Focus, Change Your Life! and A Funny Thing Happened on My Way to the World: Diary of a Fearless Travel Agent.

Annette’s short story, “Out of the Blue, a Family,” will be published in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Random Acts of Kindness on  February 7, 2017. This true story is about inviting a police officer friend from the department where she volunteers to live with her for six months when he was displaced from his rental home because of mold.  This is Annette’s fourth story in Chicken Soup for the Soul books.

John BluckJohn Bluck’s science fiction novel, The Aliens of Valtrit, is now available for purchase as an ebook and in paperback. UK spy agency employee Gina Perelli and her partner, London policeman Colin Green, follow a trail to a planet called Valtrit to capture a ray gun, the most important arms development since nuclear weapons.
