Stephanie Bolaños

Bio PhotoStephanie Bolaños is a native of Costa Rica but has resided in Northern California for most of her life. She has a B.A. in English from California State University East Bay and an M.A. in Teaching English as a Foreign / Second Language from San Francisco State University. Stephanie has worked with international students for more than twenty years. She currently teaches at the San Lorenzo Unified School District.

Stephanie was a finalist in the fiction category at the 2015 San Francisco Writers’ Conference Competition for her fiction piece, “As Snow in Time of Harvest”. She was also a finalist in the 2015 Short Story America contest for her flash fiction story, “Faces”. Stephanie’s short stories have appeared in Bosque, The 3Elements Review, Barbaric Yawp, and The Literary Nest. She lives with her husband and two young sons.
