Wayne Ragas

Wayne RagasWayne Ragas is returning to writing after taking a 15-year hiatus to be a dad. He is reviving a love for writing that sprouted in 1991 when he took a writing class.

Although he wrote a few short stories, without a support group of writers, he didn’t attempt to publish. He found that support later in a screenwriter’s group in Los Angeles where critique groups helped him hone his style and understand story structure and craft. Although he lost that support after returning to Northern California a few years later, Wayne joined CWC Tri-Valley Branch in 2015. He is excited about finding the support of fellow writers, attending critique groups, and finding venues for publishing his work.

When he publishes he plans to use his Grandfather’s name, Sid, because “Grandpa always told the greatest stories.”
