2022 Alameda County Arts Commission Grant

Tri-Valley Writers was fortunate to be awarded a generous grant of $2700 by the Alameda County Arts Commission. The grants are awarded on a two-year cycle to 501(c)3 arts groups within Alameda County. TVW is grateful to the Alameda County Arts Commission for helping TVW support the literary arts. Congratulations Tri-Valley Writers!

2023 LPC Scholarship Winner

One of the ways we support emerging writers is through the Tri-Valley Writers Scholarship. Each year our branch donates $250 and the California Writers Club statewide organization matches it to provide a $500 scholarship to be awarded to a Las Positas student. The award ceremony was held on May 19. Joel Martinez, who is majoring in journalism, received the scholarship this year.
