John Lloyd Pinches IV is a board-certified family physician who spent the past eleven years training in medicine while also raising a family. Before pursuing his medical career, he studied the creative arts, earning undergraduate degrees in Fine Art and Japanese from UC Berkeley. His manga has been published in indie anthologies, including Hachi Maru Hachi in Hawaii.
He has also written several novel drafts through NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and is currently working to complete and publish his first fantasy novel. He lives in Tracy, California, with his wife, young son, brother, and mother-in-law.
