2022 Tri-Valley Writers Scholarship Award Winner

The 2022 recipient of Tri-Valley Writers’ Las Positas Scholarship is Cate Berry. Cate said, “I am so honored to have been selected for this scholarship. I have been writing since elementary school! I’m currently working on a novel, a few short stories, and several original songs. My favorite genres are horror and fantasy.”

2018 Alameda County Arts Commission Grant

Tri-Valley Writers has once again been awarded a grant of $1,700 from the Alameda County Arts Commission 2018 ARTSFUND Grants Program. There were 48 award recipients totaling $72,000. The branch will use the grant funds to assist with our 2019 Writers Conference and our 8th and 9th Annual High School Writing Contests. Congratulations Tri-Valley Writers!

2017 Jack London Award Recipient Deborah ‘Jordan’ Bernal

2017 Tri-Valley Writers Scholarship Award Winner

This spring Tri-Valley Writers sponsored a scholarship at Las Positas College. On May 17, 2017, Suzannah Collins was awarded the Tri-Valley Writers Scholarship at a ceremony held at the college.
