Abbey Lynne Rays is a poet and educator living in Dublin, California. Her work has appeared in several publications including: Havik: Journal of Arts and Literature, Viewless Wings Publication, Beyond Words Literary Magazine, Querencia Anthology, and Free Verse Revolution Magazine.
Abbey studied poetry at California State University Chico where she earned her degree in 2004. Additionally, she holds a Master of Science in Education, specializing in Reading and Literacy, from California State East Bay. Currently,uO Abbey imparts her passion for poetry and literacy as an upper elementary school teacher, nurturing a love for creativity and expression in the minds of future generations.
When she is not writing (or teaching) she enjoys hiking, traveling and soaking in the scenic landscapes of Northern California with her husband and sweet puppy.
